Kruhay Animal Clinic Branding

Kruhay – Long Live!

Doc Rogette “Gette” S. Petuco, born and raised in Visayas, wanted to name his Veterinary clinic as an ode to his roots. Kruhay means “long live!” in Kiniray-a a language native to Panay island in the Philippines. It is somewhat aligned with the famous “Aloha” of Hawaii, a welcome greeting meant to attract and warmly draw in people!

With this knowledge, the branding for his clinic naturally gave a playful and welcoming tone. We wanted to have his visual identity to look friendly, approachable, unique and mostly welcoming. Design-wise, I wanted to create this playful and youthful look in order to catch younger clients’ eyes to bring their beloved furbabies in.

Social Media Management

In 2019, online presence is everything. Credibility, access to information, legitimacy. And since I had so much fun creating the visuals and branding, I also pitched to handle all the copy + visuals + videos + scheduling for Kruhay Animal Clinic’s Facebook. It was a bit daunting at first, but all is well since we’ve launched his page! It’s naturally gaining likes without boosting as of January 2019, but we plan on working on boosting his content in the near future. The tone and feel of his brand is more prominent on the online platform, we wanted to convey and push the idea of Kruhay being a welcoming place for people and their pets.

As of January 2019, I’m also handling Kruhay Animal Clinic’s Google Maps and adding some posts to add ease to the clinic goer and make every information available online without having to look everywhere for answers.
