Sullie Lore, an Australian Twitch gamer, asked me to rebrand his current look. His creative guideline was to be inspired by big cats – specifically the tiger. With that, I instantly thought of ways to incorporate his love for the wildcat and give life to his unique screen name.
The Sullie Lore branding is meant to look rustic and refined so as to fit the client’s identity and inspirations. Its color scheme is an ode to the tiger and the client’s passion for gaming. The claw marks are prominent all throughout his page to signify his gamer passion and to really tie in the big cat theme.
Folk Lore
In the brief, I learned that Sullie Lore’s characters are usually female characters that have a hint of feline quality to them. Jumping from the given information, I wanted to capture his love for the cats and his real-life writer spirit. For the animation styles that we incorporated, most of them are swift movements to really show the tiger’s characteristics.
